I will not friend anyone who just adds me. Introduce yourselves first please; it's the polite thing to do.

Like anyone cares about what's in here anyway.

Question

Dec. 22nd, 2008 | 08:56 pm

What happened to Tyson Ritter? In fact, what happened to all of the All American Rejects? I know they took a break (for a year? maybe?) and are now back with a new album but why do they all look like they spent said year in 1872 hanging out with P.T. Barnum?

I refer to this video of the All American Rejects covering Britney Spears' "Womanizer". The video itself it entertaining and mesmerizingly watchable... except for the glaring distraction of how skinny Tyson Ritter is. Not just skinny, gaunt. And bug-eyed. And crazy looking. And furthermore, why do I recognize only one of the Rejects (oh Nick Wheeler, your baby face will never change!)? When I first started watching, I thought Tyson had gotten himself an all new backing band!

Oh "Move Along" video, you truly are a memory of a distant yore. Sniff.

Brendon Urie Is A Spazz: A Picspam.

Jan. 20th, 2008 | 12:36 am

These were all taken at the recent Honda Civic Tour press conference. I'm sure more photos exist that prove both Brendon's spazzitry and his obvious ADD but I think that these pictures, all taken within an hour or so, prove those points pretty good.

Dude probably couldn't have a regular 9-5. )

Panic no longer excited to be at the disco.

Jan. 10th, 2008 | 11:22 pm

Rolling Stone reported today that Panic! at the Disco has officially dropped the exclamation point from their name. The news was confirmed by a "rep for the band." What? No press conference?! The band is also slated to headline this year's Honda Civic Tour. It's tradition that the headlining band design a custom Civic Hybrid that is on display at each show, and fans can enter to win said car upon the tour's completion. If you're curious, a picture of the seriously fugly car Panic "designed" is here here. Coincidentally, last year's headlining band Fall Out Boy just had their custom hybrid auctioned off on eBay netting the lucky contest winner a cool thirty grand. Already I'm looking forward to seeing if the Panic car can sell for even more when it hits eBay in 2009!

This is too ridiculous not to post.

What's the deal with this, you ask? Why Ashlee Simpson's 80's themed 23rd birthday party, of course!

Oh yes, there's more. )

Ugh. Only people who were too young the first time around would think that re-living the '80s is a "fun time." Been there, done that!

Sorry doll face, you still can't sing for shit.

Aug. 29th, 2007 | 11:52 pm

In my previous post I mentioned a song Vicky T. of Cobra Starship says she wrote with help from Ashlee Simpson and Patrick Stump. Turns out, that was a big fat lie.

Says Stump:
"I just finished producing the Cobra Starship record. While we were doing pre-production for the album, I was showing Victoria how to use GarageBand," the statement reads. "I'm not familiar with the song in question, it might be something she made after I taught her some programming, but I was not creatively involved whatsoever. If you want to hear what I produced and collaborated on, check out the new CS album Viva La Cobra! in October."

Way to distance yourself, Stump. Keep the artistic integrity alive.

Vicky T.

Aug. 28th, 2007 | 11:30 pm

Vicky T. is the "keytar" player for Cobra Starship (one of the many many shitty bands on Fall Out Boy's ex-label, Fueled By Ramen... seriously how did one label manage to assemble a roster composed entirely of crap? Oh right, Wentz.) which is an amazing reason to dismiss Cobra Starship right there: they find it necessary to have a "keytar" player. Anyway, Vicky T. has her own MySpace where she fancies herself a real musical artiste. I wandered over there to check it out because she just uploaded a new song (one of many available for purchase at $2.99 a pop, no less) that she says was worked on by both Ashlee Simpson and Patrick Stump. The song is terrible but the point to be made here is that all the songs are terrible. She's terrible! Really really terrible, as in the girl CAN'T SING! If she auditioned for American Idol I don't even think she'd make it to the "on camera" phase so Simon Cowell could rip the shit out of her. Why are the people around her feeding into her (obvious) fantasy that she has singing talent? WHY?

Also, ok, I may have been just a bit harsh when I said that all of the bands on FBR blow. Hard. Paramore is actually ok. Well, the first single on their new album is pretty good and I've been listening to it non-stop.

GERARD WAY NEVER SHOWERS

Aug. 2nd, 2007 | 01:52 am

First of all, Gerard and his trusted Sharpie are at it again!

Taken at the Mountain View, CA date of the Projekt Revolution tour which was on Sunday July 29th.

This photograph was taken by a lucky fan who was in attendance at the "Kevin & Bean Breakfast with My Chemical Romance" mini concert/radio interview done in LA for KROQ radio on Tuesday July 31st. See what is still kinda visible there on his neck?

Yeah.

This is proof, PROOF, that he did not shower after the show on Sunday, at all on Monday, or when he got up on Tuesday morning before heading off to the "super secret location" in which said radio event took place. Gerard, there is no reason for this. None. I'm guessing that there were two separate hotel stays between Sunday and Tuesday wherein you had access to fully equip bathrooms, which means you chose, independently and of your own free will, to not shower (and probably not change your pants either) and subject those around you to your personal brand of stink. Unless your natural body odor smells like sugar cookies and daises and rays of pure sunshine (which we know it is NOT, thank you very much Frank Iero) there is NO EXCUSE for not adhering to the basic level of cleanliness that society requires of every person on the planet. Also, it is just plain bad manners. You live on a bus!

Also, Gerard, has the thought ever occurred to you that perhaps this could be a major contributing factor, if not the main factor, to the fact that you can't get a quality woman to stick around and commit to you for the long haul? Ever think that the ladies learn to find your personal stench of cheap coffee, cigarettes and good 'ol fashioned man-funk to be a huge, HUGE turn-off? I think it's gross and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have to go far to fine a dozen other ladies who would agree with me. Perhaps you should think about this next time you're within 10 yards of a working shower.

Ray rules, Gerard drools.

Jun. 21st, 2007 | 02:51 am

Brief bus tour followed by Ray and Gerard playing one of their own song on Guitar Hero II. I think it's very telling the "guitarist" Gerard chooses. Can't tell who won, though.
